With the intensified cooperation, HTWK Robots and RoboCreators are sending out a joint signal in favour of innovative education and the committed promotion of young talent.
The student robotics group HTWK Robots (Faculty DIT) and the robotics school laboratory RoboCreators(Faculty ING) at HTWK Leipzig are further expanding their collaboration. The aim of the cooperation is to strengthen the link between university teaching, practical research and the early promotion of young talent in the field of robotics and computer science.
Both students and school pupils will benefit from the closer collaboration. Students are given additional opportunities to apply and pass on their knowledge in practical projects. At the same time, the robotics school lab gives young people a direct insight into current technologies such as robotics, artificial intelligence and programming.
Joint workshops, demonstrations and events are to be even more closely interlinked in future. Pupils can get to know robot systems, develop their first own programmes and experience how modern technologies work. The aim is to generate enthusiasm for STEM subjects and secure the next generation of skilled workers in the fields of IT, AI and robotics in the long term.
The collaboration also has benefits for university teaching. Students gain valuable experience in teaching technical content, work on real robotic systems and can contribute their knowledge directly to educational programmes. This creates a practical learning environment that combines theory and application.
