Studying at the Faculty of Engineering
The Faculty of Engineering offers the following accredited degree programmes at Bachelor’s and Master’s level:
- Energy, Building and Environmental Engineering
- Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
- Mechanical Engineering
Study at our Faculty is characterised by the close integration of teaching, research and practical experience. Students thus benefit from our Faculty’s active research work and scientific collaborations with companies and research institutions in the Leipzig region. In addition to the theoretical foundations of the subject, the modules also cover current engineering topics from both academia and industry.
Even during their studies, students gain an insight into various career fields, which are constantly evolving as a result of digitalisation and the demands of Industry 4.0.
Students have the opportunity, whilst studying at the Faculty of Engineering, to get to know future employers or to develop their own innovative research projects.
