Faculty of Engineering Student Council

The FSR ING, the Student Council of the Faculty of Engineering, acts as the representative body for all students and generally fulfils the following tasks:

• Advocating on behalf of students in matters relating to higher education policy, internal university affairs, and social and cultural issues
• Supporting students’ economic and social self-help initiatives
• Promoting voluntary student sport, without prejudice to the university’s responsibilities
• Fostering supra-regional and international student relations
• Promoting political education and a sense of civic responsibility amongst students
• Promoting students’ academic interests and the faculty’s academic affairs

The ING Student Council is always on the lookout for new members. If you’re interested: simply apply and take part in the university elections in December! 

Any student in the Faculty of Engineering can also simply attend the Student Council meetings or visit the Student Council in its office. Even if you haven’t been elected, you’re welcome to get involved as a volunteer member.
