Studying Abroad
International experience and intercultural awareness are now essential qualifications for university graduates.
In professional life, it is becoming increasingly common for engineers to collaborate with international partners and to jointly develop and manufacture products.
Thanks to the modular nature of our degree programmes, it is possible to spend one or more semesters at another university in this country or abroad. It is particularly straightforward to organise a period of study at one of our partner universities.
Activities
There are currently regular international activities taking place between students from our faculty and our partner universities, such as the CATIA placement at the Université d’Artois (France), the thematic seminar ‘Process Chains in Mechanical Engineering’ at our faculty, and the dual Master’s degree programme in Mechanical Engineering with the University of the West of Scotland (UK). In addition, students at the ING Faculty have a wide range of opportunities to study abroad at our partner universities.
