Energy consumption measurements
Improving energy efficiency

We offer energy consumption measurements to identify energy usage and ensure the efficient operation of machinery, plant, properties and their energy-consuming components.
Regardless of the type of electrical load, the electricity supply network or the type of voltage or current (direct or alternating voltage or current), the following conditions apply:
- 1 V to 1000 V (phase to neutral)
- 1 V to 1,400 V
- 400 A or 6000 A (depending on the current clamp)
- 42.50 Hz to 57.50 Hz (mains frequency)
The FLUKE 434 II power analyser (see image) records all relevant parameters for energy quantification, power quality (in accordance with the EN 50160 power quality standard) and long-term analyses before and after a specific energy efficiency measure, such as
- Continuous waveforms for voltage and current
- Harmonics, frequency and flicker
- apparent, active and reactive power, and power factor
on all three phases and the neutral.
The measurement results obtained are downloaded via a USB interface using device-specific software and are available in standard formats for further processing. In addition to the metrological data acquisition, the energy consumption values are presented graphically and statistically analysed.
