Professorship of Materials Technology involved with lecture
The 58th Metallography Conference took place in Berlin from 18 to 20 September 2024 and Prof. Paul Rosemann (Chair of Materials Engineering) from HTWK Leipzig was actively involved with a lecture on "Investigation of intercrystalline corrosion of aluminium alloys with metallography, eddy current testing and computed tomography". A total of 259 participants took part on site and 56 online. The conference comprised 41 specialist lectures, 28 poster presentations and four plenary lectures, which comprehensively presented the latest developments and trends in materials research.
"Symposia and conferences offer us the opportunity to present our research findings to an interested specialist audience. I always enjoy the scientific dialogue with my colleagues. The many specialist presentations on different issues always give us new ideas for future projects and investigations," emphasises Prof. Rosemann, holder of the Chair of Materials Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering.
