In silent mourning, we bid farewell to our employee
Oliver Faulstich | *14.08.1991 †29.10.2024
The news of his unexpected death hit us very hard as a faculty. It was only in July of this year that Oliver joined the team at the Chair of Gas and Heat Networks as part of the H2Infra research project on the life cycle assessment of hydrogen infrastructures. Prior to this, he successfully completed his Master's degree in "Energy, Building and Environmental Engineering" at the Faculty of Engineering at HTWK Leipzig.
He combined a personal interest in sustainability issues with a private commitment to both his studies and his research topic. Oliver was also involved in the DACS e.V. association for art, culture and skateboarding.
We got to know and appreciate Oliver as a very helpful and versatile person and we will always honour his memory.
In Oliver, we have lost a dear person and valued colleague.
Our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences go out to Oliver's family and friends and to all those who got to know and accompany him during his studies.
