The VDE working group deals with issues relating to the development and application of innovative electrical drive systems and components.
Working Group 19 of the VDE Dresden District Association offers companies, universities and research institutions from the Central German region a platform for professional exchange and networking. The aim is to pool the expertise of all players in the field of electric drive technology.
On 5 March 2026, the Faculty of Engineering at HTWK Leipzig hosted the VDE Working Group 19 conference in the Wiener-Bau. Representatives of the companies VEM, Airbus, IAV and Siemens Energy, members of TU Chemnitz, TU Ilmenau, HTW Dresden and HTWK Leipzig as well as members of the research institutes Fraunhofer and DLR accepted the invitation.
