Habilitation thesis "LEO communication systems, contributions to system concepts and algorithms of real-time signal processing"
Prof Marco Krondorf receives the Venia Legendi of the TU Dresden with the completion of his habilitation procedure. The thesis deals with new research results in communications engineering in the field of LEO satellite communication. LEO satellite systems are currently the talk of the town. The best-known example is probably Elon Musk's Starlink system.
Prof. Marco Krondorf conducted research in the field of stochastic modelling of signal detection and modulation and algorithm development for real-time receivers.
The work has been published as a reference book by Vogt Verlag under ISBN 978-3-95947-075-9.
