Printing and packaging technology students from the Lviv Printing College visited the printing and 3D printing labs at HTWK Leipzig
On 20 January 2026, the Faculty of Computer Science and Media at HTWK Leipzig received a visit from the Lviv Printing College, Ukrainian Academy of Printing. A group of 33 students and 9 university lecturers stopped off at HTWK Leipzig on their tour of Germany to find out about the degree programmes in the field of printing and media.
After information on HTWK Leipzig and the degree programmes from Prof. Holger Zellmer and on the possibilities of a semester abroad or studying abroad from M.A. Xu Xiao, a special highlight was the experience report from Yevanhelina Burdelo, a student on the Master's degree programme in Printing and Packaging Technology. She spoke enthusiastically in Ukrainian about her studies at the HTWK and life in Leipzig.
This was followed by a tour of the faculty's printing and 3D printing laboratories with a small workshop on printing bottles with Dipl. Ing. (FH) Henning Nagel. Mate bottles were printed with the logos of HTWK Leipzig and the Lviv Printing College as a souvenir for the students. The visits by the Ukrainian colleagues have now become a tradition: university lecturers and students came to HTWK Leipzig for the third time since 2022, supported by the HTWK Leipzig Sponsors' Association.
