On 15 September, the FAssMII project will celebrate its conclusion - informative and festive
On 15 September 2025 , we cordially invite all interested parties to get to know the results and tools developed in the project, try them out on site and discuss the opportunities and challenges of using digital feedback tools in teaching.
The final event, which will take place at the Faculty of Digital Transformation/Hopper Building, will begin at 2 pm with a welcome address. Among other things, the two project managers Andreas Thor and Konrad Schöbel will take a look back at four years of the teaching-learning project. The sub-projects will then present themselves in short pitches before there will be enough time to get an idea of the current developments in feedback-based e-assessment in STEM subjects at stands and demo presentations and to try out one or two tools for yourself.
Afterwards, there will be enough time to exchange ideas, network and round off the afternoon in a festive atmosphere.
The FAssMII project
Since August 2021, FAssMII - Feedback-based E-Assessment in Mathematics, Engineering & Computer Science - has been a teaching-learning project funded by the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education in the funding line Strengthening Higher Education Teaching through Digitalisation.
After an extension in summer 2024, the project will come to an end in December 2025.
A lot has happened in the four sub-projects 1) Adaptive feedback in mathematics, 2) Digital task pool in statics, mechanics & dynamics, 3) Online internships in measurement technology and 4) Feedback on diagrams in the almost four years: With the help of university didactic expertise, various tools for digital & formative feedback have been created.

The final event is also the pre-conference of this year's Workshop on e-Learning. Everyone is cordially invited to combine the two, synergy effects are guaranteed. If you register for the Workshop on e-Learning 2025, all you need to do is tick the Preconference box and there will be no extra email.
On the evening of 15 September, 7 pm, the conference dinner of the Workshop on e-Learning will take place (on a self-pay basis). We cordially invite all participants of the FAssMII final event to stay in conversation and to join the dinner after the preconference.
