Energy monitoring in heating and plumbing systems to improve energy efficiency
To date, building services systems, buildings and users have each achieved significant success in energy saving in their own right. Further potential lies largely in the interaction between these components. The available data is generally insufficient to identify and quantify efficiency potential during day-to-day operation – particularly in heating and plumbing systems – whilst taking user behaviour into account. As part of the Energy Monitoring project, the heating technology and drinking water hygiene laboratories are being expanded.
