The Scientific Workshop at Wiener-Bau supports faculty members and students of the Faculty of Engineering in bringing their ideas and projects to fruition. This ranges from the design and construction to the manufacture and assembly of equipment and test set-ups, both for teaching and research and for students’ project work. In doing so, solutions are always found through close and straightforward dialogue between all those involved. It’s best to simply pop in and see us during the planning phase. Then we can tell you what is and isn’t feasible.
In addition, our workshop offers various workstations for ‘DIY’ projects.
Our door is (almost) always open, and drop-in visits are (usually) no problem. Of course, you’re also welcome to arrange an appointment by phone or email. You’ll find us in the basement of the Wiener-Bau WI-12; the door is usually just ajar, and we look forward to your keen interest and to exciting projects.
