Taking office at the beginning of the winter semester 2021/2022
At a ceremonial handover of office in the Nieper Building on 29 September 2021, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens Jäkel symbolically handed over his office as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering to his successor Prof. Dr.-Ing.
With the new term of office, the Faculty also welcomes the newly elected Vice Deans Prof Dr Faouzi Derbel (Research) and Prof Dr Tilo Heimbold (Studies & Teaching).
The members of the Faculty of Engineering congratulate the new faculty management and wish them a successful term of office. At the same time, we would like to express our sincere thanks to the outgoing faculty management with Prof. Dr Jens Jäkel (Dean), Prof. Dr Johannes Zentner (Vice Dean), Prof. Dr Anke Bucher (Dean of Studies), Prof. Dr Martin Gürtler (Dean of Studies) and Prof. Dr Ingo Kraft (Dean of Studies) for their work over the past term of office.
