Objective
To impart basic knowledge regarding the design, modelling and simulation of basic electromechanical arrangements and complex technical systems. Learning about mathematical methods of simulation and system optimisation is a further focus. In practical seminars, work with various computer-aided simulation systems is deepened. Both electronic and electromechanical structures and systems are modelled and simulated.
Main focus of the course
- Design methods and their algorithms for the effective design of technical assemblies and systems
- Tasks, content and mathematical principles of modelling methods and simulation techniques
- Mathematical methods of system optimisation
- Modelling of basic electromechanical structures
- Setting up simulation models of novel microactuator / sensor structures
- Computer-aided simulation of analogue and digital electronic circuits
- Simulation of various complex technical arrangements using the ITI-SIM software system
