Plasma-catalytic single-stage synthesis of C1–C4 hydrocarbons from CO₂ using enamel as an innovative electrode material in combination with a selective catalyst
The PKat4Chem project utilises non-thermal plasma catalysis (NTPK) to convert CO₂ and CH₄ at ambient temperature using dielectric barrier discharge (DBD plasma).

Efficiency-optimised enamelled electrode material for the selective synthesis of green C1–C4 hydrocarbons – e-fuels, green chemicals, energy carriers
The main objective of this collaborative project is to develop an innovative material, known as ‘functional ceramics’, for use as active electrodes in plasma catalysis.

Lung microbiome model
A 3D-printed modular microbiome-host model of the lung for investigating the pharmacokinetics of pulmonary medicines

RoadIT 1.0
Development of a sensor-based, AI-supported traffic detector for the real-time analysis of road surface wear
A measurement system based on acceleration and temperature sensors, integrated into the road pavement, will be used to determine current and historical load data. The vibrations generated by vehicles passing over the road will be translated into vehicle information using artificial intelligence techniques.
